The Most Important Bands of the 2026 Edition

This year, the festival has bet on a "headliner triangle" that perfectly balances old-school nostalgia, 2000s power, and today's most cutting-edge sound.

1. Iron Maiden

The undisputed masters of classic Heavy Metal. The presence of "The Iron Maiden" at Ekebergsletta is the main event for lovers of legendary anthems, galloping solos, and, of course, a massive visual show featuring the mythical Eddie the Head. Seeing them on the main stage under the Nordic midnight sun is an unmissable experience.

2. Limp Bizkit

Fred Durst, Wes Borland, and company arrive to unleash collective madness with their devastating rap-metal crossover. If Limp Bizkit has proven anything at their recent festivals, it's that their hit-filled repertoire from the Nu Metal era (Rollin', Break Stuff, My Generation) generates the most chaotic, fun, and massive mosh pits of the day.

3. Bring Me The Horizon

Representing the crown of modern rock and metal. The British band led by Oli Sykes has become one of the biggest attractions on the planet thanks to their sonic evolution, combining metalcore, electronics, and massive pop hooks in a futuristic, flawless stage production that promises to be one of the festival's highlights.

4. Alice Cooper

The godfather of classic shock rock joins the party with his theatrical and dark arsenal. Guillotines, straitjackets, giant monsters, and timeless classics like School's Out or Poison guarantee pure, top-tier entertainment.

5. The Extreme Front and Local Pride: Anthrax, Dumdum Boys, and Raga Rockers

For those looking for speed and rawness, thrash metal "Big Four" members Anthrax promise to break necks. In addition, the festival pays tribute to local rock culture by adding Norway's two most iconic rock bands: Dumdum Boys and Raga Rockers, ensuring the local crowd sings every verse at the top of their lungs.

 Like every year, Rockerazos will once again be present at the 2026 edition of the Tons of Rock Festival. For this occasion, we are working in direct collaboration with the web portal Convicción.Online , and this year Manuel Calzada will take on the role of camera assistant. From John Dee to Operastranda: Lecquian celebrates Music Day in Norway.

After their time at the legendary John Dee, Lecquian is preparing to celebrate Music Day in Norway on the exclusive stage of Radio Latin-Amerika at Operastranda in the tourist center of Oslo.

A musical journey in constant evolution.

In the video, the band Lecquian's performance at the legendary venue "John Dee" in Oslo showcases one of their latest hits; "Funky Moon," available on Spotify, YouTube, and many other digital platforms. This song shows a more versatile facet of this band, which since its beginnings had a marked influence from styles ranging from the purest hard rock of the 80's to glam and heavy metal.

Today, with several years on the scene in both Chile and Europe, the band is stepping away from its initial standards to experiment with sounds that flirt with funk rock, a search that had them playing with folk rock for a few years. In the words of its leader, founder, composer, vocalist, and guitarist Francis Lecquian, the band has managed to mature its style by moving away from pre-established limits and daring to show other spheres that allow them to perform at all types of events and for any type of audience.

Human Music vs. AI Music.

This demonstrates how, starting from rock music, one can dare to mix genres without fear of the past, looking towards a much more diverse present and a musical future they hope to surf. They are mindful of the terrible panorama that AI presents by dehumanizing music, talent, and the emotions that can connect with an audience increasingly programmed by technology and technological addiction, which will undoubtedly change the habits of those who love music and see it as a fundamental part of their lives.

• Jorge Fuzz on lead guitar

• Jerson Román on bass and backing vocals

• Juan Pablo Guerrero on drums

The band is still looking for another guitarist to allow the vocalist greater stage freedom.

Months of activity and international ambitions.

Despite this, the band has been quite active in recent months, highlighting their performances at different venues in Oslo last year, such as "Cosmopolite" and "Melahuset". They also had a mini-tour of Spain last year, specifically in Barcelona, where they made significant alliances that will undoubtedly have them back in the Iberian country in the coming years. Meanwhile, the group continues to work on securing new songs that they can capture in their long-awaited next musical production.

Experience Lecquian live on Music Day.

In the short term, the band Lecquian will be part of the small and select group of artists who will participate in the celebration of Music Day in Oslo, in the production of Radio Latin-Amerika. This event promises a selection with great Latin American exponents who keep great Latin music of various styles alive in Norway. It is a totally free event that will take place on Saturday, June 6th at Operastranda in the tourist area of Bjørvika in Oslo and will undoubtedly attract a lot of attention as one of the highlights of this traditional celebration each year in the Nordic country.
