CONFESS: Confess is a groove metal band originally from Tehran in Iran, now based in Oslo. The band has become a symbol of artistic freedom and resistance, and blends aggressive music with deeply personal and political lyrics. The Norwegian-Iranian groove/thrash metal band Confess has a history completely out of the ordinary. After being imprisoned in Iran for playing heavy metal, they fled to Norway and continued their uncompromising musical struggle. Confess stands out not only through their powerful soundscape and their lyrics, but also because of their history: creating art under censorship and overcoming persecution to continue performing internationally. The band's music combines elements from groove metal, death metal, and nu metal. With their crushing mix of political protest, heavy riffs, and explosive live shows, Confess delivers raw, pure energy that is guaranteed to get the pit going!

METAL HAZARD: Directly from the raw Chilean extreme metal scene, Metal Hazard brings their aggressive, breakneck thrash metal. With lightning-fast guitar solos, punishing drums, and an intensity that characterizes true South American metal, this is a band that will run over the audience like a freight train. The Chilean thrash metal band Metal Hazard embarks on their first Scandinavian tour, where they bring their raw and aggressive energy to stages in Finland, Sweden, and Norway. The crowd favorites from the South American underground scene deliver a breakneck show filled with lightning-fast guitar riffs and relentless tempo, ready to tear down every single club they visit.

MACHINE: Machine is a three-piece thrash metal band from Torshov in Oslo. The band plays relentless thrash with inspiration from other genres such as: prog, groove, and heavy metal. Machine has recorded their second studio album "The Wire system," which will be released during 2026. The album features brutal thrash songs with elements from other subgenres, with music that is even more accomplished than their first album "Take Control." Their music creates high expectations, which are shown through concerts, with a wild stage presence, and tight playing. They have, among other things, played at Rockefeller as the opening act for the boogie-rock legends Backstreet Girls, and packed the Radar stage with 350 people in the audience. From John Dee to Operastranda: Lecquian celebrates Music Day in Norway.

After their time at the legendary John Dee, Lecquian is preparing to celebrate Music Day in Norway on the exclusive stage of Radio Latin-Amerika at Operastranda in the tourist center of Oslo.

A musical journey in constant evolution.

In the video, the band Lecquian's performance at the legendary venue "John Dee" in Oslo showcases one of their latest hits; "Funky Moon," available on Spotify, YouTube, and many other digital platforms. This song shows a more versatile facet of this band, which since its beginnings had a marked influence from styles ranging from the purest hard rock of the 80's to glam and heavy metal.

Today, with several years on the scene in both Chile and Europe, the band is stepping away from its initial standards to experiment with sounds that flirt with funk rock, a search that had them playing with folk rock for a few years. In the words of its leader, founder, composer, vocalist, and guitarist Francis Lecquian, the band has managed to mature its style by moving away from pre-established limits and daring to show other spheres that allow them to perform at all types of events and for any type of audience.

This demonstrates how, starting from rock music, one can dare to mix genres without fear of the past, looking towards a much more diverse present and a musical future they hope to surf. Despite this, the band has been quite active in recent months, highlighting their performances at different venues in Oslo last year, such as "Cosmopolite" and "Melahuset". They also had a mini-tour of Spain last year, specifically in Barcelona, where they made significant alliances that will undoubtedly have them back in the Iberian country in the coming years. Meanwhile, the group continues to work on securing new songs that they can capture in their long-awaited next musical production.

In the short term, the band Lecquian will be part of the small and select group of artists who will participate in the celebration of Music Day in Oslo, in the production of Radio Latin-Amerika.
